The songs to be featured on Zach Braff’s upcoming film Wish I was Here continue to trickle out and we are getting more and more excited with each release. The Shins last week were the first to share their song “So What Now”, and overnight Bon Iver have shared their song “Heavenly Father”.
Wish I Was Here is directed and produced by Zach Braff, who also directed Garden State, another film with a great soundtrack featuring The Shins. This time round Zach Braff funded this film through a successful kickstarter campaign, and has asked a number of musicians to write songs for the film. The soundtrack will also include songs by Gary Jules, Cat Power and Coldplay to name a few.
With the quirky fun film of Garden State under Braff’s belt, we have no doubt that this film is going to be as quirky, cute and fun as his last film. Wish I Was Here will hit Australian cinemas on September 11 and we cannot wait!
