The members of Sleater-Kinney have been busy doing their own projects over the last decade but over the last twelve months there has been rumours that the all-girl Washington trio were back in the studio recording new music. Rumours are true and today they announced their new album No Cities To Love which will be released on January 19. The group have also announced a U.S and UK tour for early 2015 and we are hoping they will also make time to visit down under. The group’s last visit to Australia was in fact one of the band’s very last tours before going on Hiatus, which was the Big Day Out in 2006.
The ladies also shared today a lyric video for their new single “Bury Our Friends” which can be viewed below. The new single features longtime Sleater-Kinney collaborator Miranda July.
