Despite the rainshowers that pursued throughout the day, thousands of people turned out on Sydney’s Foreshore to partake in the Australia Day activities. Thelma Plum, Dustin Tebbutt and Little May were highlights of the day, performing in front of the brave crowds.
In addition to the live music, the famous Rocks Markets were open, as well as many delicious and food stalls that overwhelmed the senses. George Street was also blocked off, with wonderful seating areas and board games lining the roadside. Check out the festivities and performances below.
